This advert is open to both Internal and External applicants.

This rewarding and exciting role will support the delivery of Stoke-on-Trent City Council’s leisure and wellbeing strategy, supporting residents to lead healthier and more active lives.

Delivery takes place within leisure and community venues across the city.

The role requires you to;

• Hold relevant Level 3 and GP Exercise Referral qualifications and have a good understanding and knowledge of the benefits of physical actively and exercise for health.

• Proactively engage with a range of key priority groups including; older people, those living with long-term health conditions and those accessing the service via bespoke referral pathways.

• Work across a number of activity and wellbeing interventions.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team of instructors.

• Deliver a varied and enjoyable customer experience, encouraging long-term adherence and behavioural change.

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills to liaise with both participants and health professionals.

• Ability to manage you own workload and carry out administrative tasks and attend meetings as required.
