Opens for appplications 1 January 2021
This bursary is for Members of Support Staffordshire to apply for up to 10 hours of FREE Development Support.
If you have already used up your 3 FREE Member hours or you know at the outset, you are going to need more than this, you should read on. If you aren't sure, then please go for the 3 hours already available and come back to this later if needed.
Support can be used flexibly across up to 12 months and can be for one or more related development themes such as:
- Supporting you to develop Funding Plans or Strategies
- Planning for new or better Volunteer Involvement
- Governance Reviews or major Changes
- Supporting you to Review or Implement new Policies & Procedures
- Develop a Collaboration
- Better Demonstrate your Impact or Evaluate your Performance
- Improve Financial Management Systems
- or something else!
Remember, Bursaries are to support your development, not to do the work for you. If you need the extra capacity to do the work, then you should consider our paid Consultancy Services instead. We offer a range of paid for Consultancy services to undertake direct work such as writing funding applications, registering your charity, training your trustees and much more. If this is the support you need take a look at our consultancy pages.
Want to continue?
You MUST have the support of your Chief Executive, Chief Officer, Chairperson or equivalent to apply, so please check this first.
Your local Support Staffordshire Officer will need to review the application and will usually be the person delivering the support, so we also STRONGLY encourage you to talk to them before applying. Their details can be found on our contact page or by calling 0300 777 1207.
If accepted you will be committing to work with us collaboratively and to producing a joint Case Study at the end of the work. Where a sponsor is in place, you may also be asked to undertake some joint awareness/promotion work, but this will be explained and agreed jointly with you.
Ready to go?
Please complete the simple application form in your own words via the link below, as much as you can.
Applications received between 1 January 2021 and 28 February 2021 will be assessed and awarded from 1 March 2021.
