Engagement starts on services formerly at the George Bryan Centre

On 12th February 2019, a fire destroyed the west wing of the George Bryan Centre. It provided an assessment, care and treatment service for working age adults who are in an acute state of mental illness and a mental health assessment service for people aged over 65.

Temporary arrangements have been in place since the fire and MPFT would like to design permanent solutions. An engagement exercise is underway for people living in Tamworth, Lichfield and Burton to discuss how best to create outstanding services.

In the first round, ACRE received 22 applications from eligible UK organisations to apply for funding from the Village Hall improvement Grant.
