in the field of safer communities.
Sport and leisure
Environment, Rural, Sustainability & Animals
Support Staffordshire works with a wide range of organisations and groups involved in the environment, in rural issues and animals as well as those engaged in promoting environmental sustainability. These include charities, social enterprises and community groups which manage nature reserves or care farms or animal rescue centres, friends groups formed from volunteers taking a positive interest in a particular area of land or a park, and community businesses running their local pub or shop.
Mental Health
Support Staffordshire works
to support Mental Health focussed groups, large and familiar as well as small and innovative.
Disabilities
Support Staffordshire has many member organisations who work to support and enable disabled people and people with learning disabilities and difficulties. Groups include those who support specific conditions or impairments.
As well as supporting these organisations in their day to day running, we frequently support them in liaising with public bodies, particularly in social care and the NHS.
Older People & Long Term Conditions
Support Staffordshire supports
a large number of member organisations who primarily work with older people.

As probably the most 
commonly thought of ‘VCSE’ we support hundreds of charities across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
