Staffordshire County Council's Thrive Scheme Seeks to Recruit Foster Carers for Children with Disabilities

Staffordshire County Council are currently working on The Thrive Scheme which is a new incentive to recruit foster carers to specifically care for children with disabilities who are currently living in residential care.

Staffordshire County Council’s New Deal to Support Communities

A three-year commitment to support community and voluntary groups in Staffordshire has been signed by the county council.

The £800,000 agreement will be delivered across the county by a consortium of three groups with a brief to help develop a sustainable, growing voluntary sector that works with residents who need support, as well as backing initiatives such as lunch clubs, community gardening projects and library volunteering.
