Tame Valley Wetlands' Social Media Workshop (Venue: Coleshill)

Tame Valley Wetlands will be holding a Social Media Workshop on Friday, April 15, 2016.

It will be held at the TVW Offices, Hams Hall Environment Centre, Coleshill, B46 1GA from 10am to 2pm and it’s FREE!

You will learn how to use social media to raise awareness of your work and how to gather support plus you will meet other charities and community groups.

The Prince's Trust: New Fairbridge Programme Starting in April 2016 (Stoke-on-Trent)

The Prince's Trust have a fantastic Fairbridge programme starting in April with good progression routes. This is a NEW and FREE programme in the Stoke-on-Trent area which gives you a fantastic opportunity to work in a challenging and new environment. If you are aged 16-25 and unemployed or struggling with education you could join the Fairbridge programme.

Staffordshire Families Strategic Partnership Board - Call For Agenda Items

The next meeting of the recently formed Staffordshire Families Strategic Partnership Board is due towards the end of April and a request has been made for agenda items.

This partnership is a multi-agency group that reports into the Health & Wellbeing Board. Its focus is on families rather than simply children and young people in recognition of the integral link between the two.

A paper that was presented to the Health & Wellbeing Board in March is attached below. This gives a full explanation of the remit of the Board.

Participation Invited in Staffordshire Social Action & Community Capacity Initiative

Announcement from Staffordshire County Council:-

Following the Social Action and Community Capacity workshop on Tuesday 1 March we are starting a joint conversation about how we can work together to enable social action and develop community capacity in Staffordshire. The energy, enthusiasm and creativity in the room were evident for all to see.

The discussions at the workshop highlighted some key points that for me are critical:

2016 Police & Crime Commissioner Election Forum (Venue: Stafford)

Saltbox has worked with Support Staffordshire and VAST to organise four PCC Election Forums prior to the forthcoming Staffordshire PCC election. The formats will be similar at all events, including opening statements, Q&As, and closing statements, etc.
