The Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Locality Forums are open to all VCSE organisations who are active in that locality and are completely free of charge. If you would like to add a topic or issue to the next agenda of one of the meetings, please contact the person named against the relevant forum below. You can just turn up at the meetings although it is useful for us to know in advance for setting the room, etc. To book a place at the next meeting please either email the named contact or book online as indicated.
Talking Values...Don't Yawn, We Really Mean It!
Every now and then we can all feel like it’s a cynical world, and I have to admit that I am with you in being somewhat sceptical when I hear other organisations talk ‘Values’. So this month I want to try and persuade you that you should give them a second chance, BUT only because I want to hear more of us talk values that actually mean something.
Staffordshire North and Stoke-on-Trent CAB's next Lunch Club will be held on Wednesday 16th December 2015, 1-2pm. The topic will be a general benefit update.

The next round of the Weston Charity Award has been launched.
This is the third year the Weston Awards have been run, and for the third year they are expanding to help more charities. The Awards provide unrestricted core funding alongside free capacity building support, and are designed to benefit smaller charities. The Awards are run in partnership between the Garfield Weston Foundation and Pilotlight.
BBC Radio 1 have launched a new year-long volunteering campaign to motivate young listeners to pledge 1 million hours of time to good causes over the next 12 months.
