Community Safety and Knife Crime Survey

As part of a new contract, SCVYS has been asked to undertake research around Community Safety and Knife Crime (Youth Violence). Specifically, we are interested in knife crime and whether this is a growing issue around the county.

Taking part in the survey is completely confidential and anonymous. We only ask for age and postcode to enable comparisons between different areas in the county and different age groups.

Staffordshire Day 2019

Staffordshire Day is fast approaching, but have no fear – it’s not too late to join the celebrations!

They have written The Great Big Staffordshire Quiz and can supply quiz sheets and posters to help you promote your evening – as well as including your event in the Staffordshire Day listings on their website and promoting it on social media.

AEDdonate - Staffordshire1000 campaign

AEDdonate  are in the process of launching a new ambitious local campaign called Staffordshire1000 on 1/5/19 in Staffordshire, which coincides with Staffordshire Day.

The campaign is to boost the number of community access defibrillators in Staffordshire and increase community awareness of the locations and knowledge of what to do in a cardiac arrest emergency. Aspirationally we would like to get an additional 1000 defibs installed in the communities of Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent, and support from Support Staffordshire Members would be hugely beneficial in our goal.
