Grants Available from The England Illegal Money Lending Team

New funding is available from The England Illegal Money Lending Team to be used to benefit local communities.

The good news is that for the year 2016-2017 organisations will be able to apply for up to £5,000 to directly target an area affected by, or believed to be at risk of, illegal money lending to promote the Illegal Money Lending Team and the message that loan sharks should be avoided at all costs.

Your project idea will need to target illegal money lending and needs to be delivered by the 31st March 2017.

The WDF is a funding stream from the Department of Health which is disbursed, in Staffordshire, by CareMatch.

It’s a limited pot of money which funds qualification units and supports the ongoing professional development of staff across adult social care in England.

The WDF can make a significant contribution towards the costs of workers completing health and social care qualifications, units and Apprenticeships.
