Make Some Noise is excited to offer two new roles working alongside our experienced Programme Development Officers to provide project support on a range of inclusive music making programmes, to enable children and young people to develop their personal resilience and thrive as a result of engaging in empowering music opportunities. Predominantly working with organisations across Staffordshire & Stoke on Trent, we are interested in challenging perceptions and offering new ways to move lives beyond disadvantage through music.
The 2nd Staffordshire Village Halls Network meeting, organised by Support Staffordshire, will centre on the theme of Succession Planning, wider engagement and recruiting volunteers. The format will be 2 -3 hours of talks, presentations and networking time with refreshments.

Nationally renowned Trainer, Leah Selinger, will be returning to Shropshire for the third time to deliver her course “Writing Successful Bids” in Shropshire, on Friday 10 May 2019. This course would normally cost £195 to attend in London but we are able to offer Shropshire RCC members this excellent course for just £75 (£100 to non-RCC members and out-of-county organisations) including a light lunch and refreshments
This training is only available to members of SCVYS and Support Staffordshire and is free to member organisations. Spaces are limited to two per organisation, if you require more spaces please contact email@example.com.
Please note that even though the course is free to members of SCVYS and Support Staffordshire, if you reserve a place and then fail to attend on the day you will be invoiced for the full cost of the course (£25.00 per person).
Just as Support Staffordshire, promotes and supports volunteering; we also benefit from the help of our own bunch of volunteers; and they received a big thank you at our 5th Birthday Event a few weeks back.
The volunteers, were thanked by Humphrey Scott-Moncrieff, Deputy Lieutenant & an ambassador for the Queens Award for Voluntary Service, and Mike Smith, Chief Executive of Stafford Railway Building Society, who kindly sponsored the awards.
April sees Support Staffordshire enter its 6th year in operation. So, in late March we celebrated with our 5th birthday party; more of which below!
