Up to £80,000 of funding is being made available to Stoke-on-Trent based organisations who are supporting people affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. Funding is available as small grants from The Community Foundation for Staffordshire.
There will be three tiers of grants available;
Tier One - Applications for up to £1000 for small locally based groups who are supporting a specific village or estate. Decisions on these grants will usually be made within 2 working days.
The NHS service supporting autistic children and young people in South Staffordshire and their families has developed a new online workshop in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust’s interim Children and Young People’s Autism Service has worked with a number of families to adapt its face-to-face Introduction to Autism session into an easy-to-use podcast-style audio and video workshop.

Applications are open for the Resilience and Recovery Loan Fund (RRLF) offered by Social Investment Business (SIB). Charity Bank is supporting SIB by helping to deliver the Fund for eligible organisations, who believe the Fund is appropriate for their needs.

Tesco Bags of Help is responding to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis by setting up a new short-term fund to support local communities.The fund will provide a single payment award of £500 to organisations who are supporting vulnerable groups.
Eligible organisations are;
National Trading Standards (NTS) Scams Team launched a new initiative last week called Businesses Against Scams (BAS).
It is a simple toolkit that businesses can use to help train their employees on how to spot certain types of scams that are more prevalent within businesses due to the current pandemic sweeping the UK.
The initiative provides free online training modules that will help staff identify and prevent potential scams.
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak all Libraries in Staffordshire remain closed, and our service, with the exception of our online offer, remains suspended until further notice.
We are continuing to offer and develop our online service, eLibrary and resources and are active on social media so there are lots of ways to use the library from home!
