Music & Comedy night comes to Pirelli Stadium

YMCA Burton and Burton Albion Community trust are delighted to host a fabulous night of music and comedy with comedienne Sheila McMahon. The evening will take place on the 2nd October at Pirelli Stadium and will be raising money for 2 local charities, YMCA Burton & Burton Albion Community Trust. Sheila is a regular performer at the Lichfield Garrick with sell out shows combining comedy with mental health. A comedienne, qualified counsellor and signer songwriter, she has appeared on TV and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

2nd Annual TWB Suicide Prevention Conference 2019

This is the 2nd annual Together We’re Better Suicide Prevention Conference, hosted by North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust.

The day offers a unique opportunity to hear from a number of experts on topics such as Care of the Bereaved by Suicide, Young Peoples Mental Health and exciting updates about funding for Suicide Prevention across Stoke On Trent and Staffordshire.

The challenge for everyone working in public facing organisations will continue to be how do we work better together to prevent suicide?

Staffordshire Your Way Volunteer Opportunities

Together for Mental Wellbeing are looking for volunteers in Tamworth, Lichfield and East Staffordshire for their Your Way project.

If you would like to support individuals living with mental health issues there are a number of volunteer roles available: Community Connectors, Peer Supporters, Group Facilitators, Promotional and Events volunteers.
