An introductory session for groups who are looking at raising funds in a variety of ways. The workshop will cover the basics for:

  • Writing funding bids

  • Fundraising methods and legalities

  • Sponsorship

  • Legacies

A one day course for Volunteer Managers or Co-ordinators covering:

  • Developing a volunteering programme
  • Recruitment & selection
  • Support & supervision
  • Retention of volunteers

This is an ideal course for busy Volunteer Co-ordinators who wish to gain knowledge of best practice and how to apply it. The day will also provide opportunities to network and share information

Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day. Lunch is NOT provided.

An introductory session for groups who are writing or refreshing their policies and procedures. This workshop will cover the difference between a policy and a procedure and will outline best practice in the following policies:

  • Data protection

  • Health and safety
