SCVYS are pleased to invite members to the 2018 annual general meeting at Rising Brook Baptist Church.
The evening will celebrate the work of SCVYS over the past 12 months and will be followed by light refreshments.
We are delighted to announce that Ian Dudson, Lord Lieutenant of Staffordshire, will be speaking to those present.
Rugeley Community Centre
This FREE event on 17th November in Rugeley Community Centre is for people living with dementia and their carers.
It is being organised through some local PCSO's and members of Cannock Chase dementia action alliance and supported by a range of sponsors.
As well as afternoon tea and reminiscence, it is also a chance for people to find out what support is available for people living with dementia

The AGM will be held in conjunction with a talk from Garry Jones Chief Executive at Support Staffordshire entitled:
‘Commissioning Angst – placing cost above the relationship’,
which will follow the formal (and brief) business of the AGM and an update on Support Staffordshire.

This event is FREE to any charity or voluntary / community group operating in Staffordshire. This is your opportunity to meet with funders, consider a range of funding you may not have previously considered, gain an insight into a funder's way of thinking and discuss your group or organisations funding needs.

Support Staffordshire (South Staffordshire), South Staffordshire Council and SCVYS are holding the Volunteer Awards at a Volunteer Celebration Event as part of Support Staffordshire’s December Locality Forum in order to publicly recognise and acknowledge the hard work and support that volunteers give to the community of South Staffordshire.
