THE RIGHT START - Planning for the Future

These are challenging times in the voluntary sector so this session will help you consider the future to ensure you are doing everything you can to effectively plan ahead. Aimed at both new and established groups the workshop will cover:

  • Basic business plans

  • Human resources

  • Managing assets

  • Marketing and communications

Tutor: Esther Bromley of Support Staffordshire

Esther has worked in the voluntary sector for a number of years as a Project Officer, Volunteering Officer, Training Officer and Development Officer and now leads a team in the Cannock Chase District. She has successfully assisted groups and organisations with funding applications and has advised on organisational development, policies and procedures. She has been an 'Investing in Volunteers' advisor for 3 years, a national award that is designed to assess and recognise excellent volunteer management practices.
