Tamworth the Rosetta Stone of England - A talk by Roger Nutt
Kingsbury-born Mr Roger Nutt, now of the U.S.A., will come to explain his intriguing theory that Tamworth, and not Wall, is the real Roman settlement of Letocetum. Given the recent discovery in Coton Lane, and previous Romano-British finds in the area, is it so far-fetched?
'Tamworth - the Rosetta Stone of England' will be in Tamworth Town Hall on Sunday 14th July at 2.00 p.m. and admission on the door is £4 (£2 for TDCS members).
There will be no pre-booking of tickets for this event, but please e.mail us to let us know if you intend to come so as to assist us with seating and catering.
