Local Improvements - OPEN Forum

Older People's Engagement Network

What your key priorities are for improving your local area?

Do you have concerns about issues such as the condition of roads and pavements and reducing pot holes, keeping streets litter free, fly-tipping, the up-keep of green spaces or maintenance of communal hedges and trees?

Barry Brockbank, Assistant Director of the Operations Division at Stoke-on-Trent City Council, will be the guest speaker at the Forum and will answer any questions on the day.

OPEN is also working with Keele University to find out what the barriers and opportunities are for older people’s community engagement in general. During the event you will get to participate in a series of round table discussions known as a World Café to give your feedback about how beneficial you find attending OPEN Forum and Community Conversation events.

Doors open at 10am and a free lunch will be provided at 1.00pm.
