FREE WORKSHOP – Towards improving services and facilities for older people in Staffordshire Moorlands

Support Staffordshire is holding a half-day discussion workshop to explore ways of enhancing and extending the range of activities, facilities and support for older people in Staffordshire Moorlands.

The workshop will aim to:

  • Develop a collective vision of what a good place for older people looks like - What would we aspire to?
  • Identify what is already working well (locally or elsewhere) and could be built on?
  • Consider what else the voluntary and community sector could provide that would make a big difference to the lives of local older people
  • Explore ways of working together to begin to achieve the collective vision

Members of voluntary / community groups, faith organisations and social enterprises whose activities include older people are welcome to attend. We would also encourage individuals with ideas for improving and enhancing services to come along.

The event is free but you need to book your place in advance.  For more information more about this event or book a place please contact Carol Sheldon at Support Staffordshire’s Leek office.
