Forest School Level 3 training at The Wolseley Centre

With Staffordshire Wildlife Trust (via Open College Network West Midlands)

On completion of this professionally accredited course, individuals are qualified as Forest School Leaders and are able to deliver Forest School programmes within their own setting. The course combines both theoretical and practical aspects including: the principles of Forest School, best practice, practical tool use, programme planning, risk management, learning theory, child development, woodland management and much more. The cost is £975 per participant. Course will take place over nine taught days and involves the delivery of an "Introduction to Forest School" programme within an educational setting and the production of a course portfolio over a 10 month period.

The course also includes a two day Forest School first aid course. Course dates: Thursdays 28th February, 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th March 2019 (Theoretical and practical training), Tuesday 2nd & Wednesday 3rd April (Practical skills days) with the first aid course (two days) soon afterwards (dates to be confirmed). The course will take place at The Wolseley Centre just outside Stafford.
