Community Conversation on Day Opportunities

OPEN Conversation on Day Opportunities 18 May

Day Opportunities is a mixture of health, social care and leisure services provided by Stoke-on-Trent City Council.

They aim to keep you active, learn new skills and maintain friendships and social contacts.

We want to know what Day Opportunity services and events you think would make a difference to you. So if you want an activity, support or service that is currently missing, why not come along and tell those who make decisions on what services are commissioned?

OPEN is also working with Keele University to find out what the barriers and opportunities are for older people’s community engagement in general. During the event you will get to participate in a series of round table discussions known as a World Café to give your feedback about how beneficial you find attending OPEN Forum and Community Conversation events.

A free light lunch will be provided on arrival. Doors open at 12noon for a 12.30 start.
