Coronavirus Mental Health Response Fund (CMHRF) for voluntary sector mental health providers

The coronavirus pandemic means that more people, either with or without an existing mental health problem, are seeking support for their mental health.

We know that measures to limit virus spread are impacting negatively on people’s mental health, particularly those who depend on formal and informal networks to support their mental wellbeing.

Emergency funding to become available from Arts Council England

The Arts Council are making £160 million of emergency funding available for those organisations and individuals who will need it during this crisis, and they have also changed the funding requirements for individuals and organisations currently in receipt of our funding, to help alleviate pressure on them as best they can.

The Leathersellers' Company: Small Grants Programme

Sport England Community Emergency Fund

Sport England announced up to £195 million of funding available to help the sport and physical activity sector through the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

Persimmon’s Charitable Foundation Funds: Building Futures and Community Champions

Building Futures

Persimmon’s Charitable Foundation has this week committed to relaunching its Building Futures scheme for 2020. As part of its sponsorship of Team GB, Persimmon will donate more than £1 million to support children in sport, health and education.  

Building Futures will offer three major prizes up to £100k to fund projects which support children.  Alongside the top prizes there are smaller individual prizes of £1,000 each to give away during April and May 2020.

Thomas Pocklington Trust: COVID-19 Emergency Fund for the Sight Loss Sector

Thomas Pocklington Trust (TPT) has suspended its normal grant funding activities and set up an emergency fund for sight loss organisations.

£500,000 of essential support will be available to sight loss sector organisations which are providing critical services for the physical and emotional well-being of blind and partially sighted people in these uncertain times.

Grants will be available of up to £10,000 pounds or the equivalent of two months’ running costs (whichever is less) for use over the next six months.
