Support Staffordshire is a Company Limited by Guarantee, registered in England and Wales (no. 8967045). The company is governed according to its PDF iconArticles of Association.pdf, by a Board of Directors drawn from its membership. The company is also a registered Charity (no. 1161077). The company must also report to Her Majesty’s Revenue and Custom’s (HMRC) for Tax and National Insurance purposes.

Support Staffordshire is also bound by a number of other local and national authorities covering a range of legislative and regulatory functions including Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Data Protection, Environmental Protection, Employment Law, Financial Regulations and Equalities Legislation. These requirements will need to be managed through a set of policies and procedures, agreed by the Board and implemented by the staff and volunteer team.

Support Staffordshire Trustees make individual ‘Declarations of Interests’ at least annually and have also considered guidance on ‘Persons of Significant Control’. Both Registers are published here for full transparency: PDF icon171109 Register of Interests and PSCs.pdf
